Erik Momsen

Senior Pastor

Erik has been at Bluewater Bay Community Church since his induction to the ministry in December 1993.  Prior to this he served a 2 year period in Tableview, Cape Town. 

He is married to Adele, and has 3 children: Timothy, Thomas and Erin. 

Apart from his passion for God and the church, Erik is an avid follower of Formula 1 motor racing.  His favourite driver is Michael Schumacher.

Larry Hunt

Assistant Pastor

Larry took up the position of Assistant Pastor in mid-1998 after a number of years of active involvement in the church and as part of the eldership.

He emphasises the importance of studying the Bible, the Word of God, and in devoting oneself to prayer & fasting.

He is married to Yvonne.

Tobile Sonjica

Tobile and his family joined us recently from Missionvale. Tobile is married to Linda and they have three children. Tobile's passion is music and getting back to the basics - cells.

Tobile has joined us to be a part of our, soon to be starting, 8 a.m. service in which he will be co-ordinating worship. He will also be making in-roads with the increasing number Xhosa-speaking families in the community.

We are excited that Tobile has joined our team and look forward to a long and fruitful ministry together.

Rory Marais

Assistant Pastor

Rory joined the staff at the beginning of February 2002 in the dual role of Youth Pastor and teacher/administrator at Bay Christian School.

At the beginning of April, 2006, Rory assumed the role of  fulltime Youth Pastor.

Rory is now developing the function of communications officer. The Bay Window is in his hands

Rory is married to Catherine, and has a daughter Christina and son Joel.
